My name is Tristan Woods, and I am a freelance photographer who is passionate about capturing beautiful moments, creative visions, and environments that celebrate and represent diverse communities, particularly shining a light on people of color.
I began my photography journey over 5+ years ago while in college, and since then, have been dedicated to creating stunning visuals that reflect the unique perspectives and experiences of the people and places that I capture. .
My portrait work focuses on combating the lack of representation in visual media, while my travel photography captures the beauty of often-unseen people and places, with the goal of helping others appreciate that beauty.
In addition to photography, I have a deep love for music (DJ'ing), travel, video painting, exploiting nature, and building community. These passions have shaped my work as a photographer and inspires my creativity daily.
